Ugochukwu Uzuegbu has a background in Community Health and Communication. He was a Community Health Officer at Abia State Primary Healthcare Agency, and Media Adviser at Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Abia State, Nigeria. He has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Michael Okpara University, Umudike, and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Ugochukwu has strong problem-solving and research skills and is adept at leveraging data-driven insights to create impactful strategies using relevant productivity tools. He is proficient in communication in English, with a working knowledge of French.

Ugochukwu is passionate about good health and well-being and Climate Action. He is an active member of the global youth changemakers community, volunteering for Global Legislators Organization for a Balanced Environment (GLOBE) Nigeria to facilitate Africa’s Student-MP Climate Surgery in Nigeria and participating virtually in the World Bank Youth Summit in 2021 and 2023. He is also an active member of the UNESCO Global Youth Community and USAID Youthlead.
